Reports are coming in from Cote D’Ivoire that the main office of the IHRC-RFT has kicked off a series of diplomatic consultation meetings. The first session was held on Saturday 15th October, 2025. The meetings are aimed to strengthen partnerships and promote human rights in West Africa.



The IHRC-RFT Vice Chair and Deputy High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure who participated by virtual means made a cordial call to the group of diplomats to work with the organization: “we are pleased to invite you to join the IHRC-RFT family. As a member, you will enjoy numerous benefits and privileges, and contribute to the promotion of human rights and dignity in our region.
The meeting saw the participation of several high-ranking diplomats, who pledged their support for the IHRC-RFT’s mission. The IHRC-RFT main office in Cote D’Ivoire has been granted regional bureau status, with Ambassador Aboa Yapo Olley Narcisse Man Baudoin serving as the West Africa sub-regional coordinator.
The convenor of the meeting, Ambassador Aboa Yapo Olley Narcisse Man Baudoin said: “we are committed to working with our partners to promote human rights and protect the vulnerable in West Africa.”

The IHRC-RFT is expected to host more diplomatic consultation meetings in the coming weeks, as it seeks to expand its reach and impact in the region.
